Bethlehem Airshow, August 2012
Bethlehem airshow is one of the most popular airshows in South Africa, enjoyed by both pilots and spectators. This year was no exception although the wind did not play ball and blew very hard most of the day. This made for very difficult flying conditions and was a challenge to most pilots especial those in teams such as the Silver Falcons and the Gabriel Pitts and Goodyear Pitts. A special mention must be made of the four ship flypast consisting of three Trojans and one Mustang. Nice to see more and more warbirds in South Africa. Well done to the organisers for a safe and most enjoyable airshow.
